the location of this hotel is excellent

This place can definitely be better, but we set our expectation very low. We went there for the amazing beach, to have fun and it was perfect. The bed linen can be better, but it is clean. It wasn't dirty as I read in other comments, I would personally use more bleach for it :), but it was clean. Definitely this aspect could be improved. Another aspect that can be improved is cleaning, but again it wasn't as bad as described in other comments. It is Jamaica, it is extremely close to the beach and the sand goes in the rooms. I love clean places and this aspect can be improved. If you look for luxury definitely this place isn't for you. If you look for a very relaxing place, this is it. The employees are very nice and they can help you with anything you need. On Friday it was a loud party until 2 am, but in the other days was very quiet and we slept very well. As a conclusion, if you want a more homie feeling, to have fun, to enjoy Jamaica and an absolutely AMAZING location on the beach, this is the place. If you look for luxury, definitely this place isn't for you. We had a washing machine and dryer in the apartment and it was super helpful. Thank you, Beachcomber! You are GREAT!

The beach is perfect, location is great. Jeff makes a great cup of coffee. Dominique told us all about her plants and trees, fascinating. Every one was very friendly and helpful.

Bed was good

When we first arrived at the resort, the staff was friendly... however after checking into our room, and finding it filthy, with stained towels, dirty bed linens. Only 1 of the 3 lights in the main area worked, the telephone didn't work... not even to cal the front desk. The shower was disgusting. We brought all of these issues to the front desk staff, and informed them that we didn't want to stay at the property,the staff became upset to the point of being rude, they offered us an upgraded room.. however they had to get it ready. They then searched the property for the housekeeping staff, unable to locate them they yelled and shouted for them, once finding them the housekeeping staff was rude, and then it took them an hour to get the new, upgraded room ready... We got into the new room, only to find it to be just as disgusting as the first room. With dirty and stained towels and bed linens, and a dirty shower. We promptly checked out the very next morning, with them refusing to give us our money back for the nights we weren't going to stay there. They informed us that they were unable to give us our money back without the manager being on site, and that the manager wouldn't be back for 2 days. I have contacted the property several times only to find that the manager is never on site, and the booking agency has also contacted the property several times and have found the same too be true... the manager is never available. This is no way to run a business, but it is a great way to ruin a well deserved vacation. I do not suggest anyone stay at this resort!!!

The location and the staff was friendly.

Room was clean. Non-Beachcomber wine bar in lobby has the best wine list in Jamaica. Prices are not great but a decent wine list in Jamaica is worth the cost. You are on vacation after all... Beach is very nice.

Nice beach location right on the 7 mile beach area and not across the road from the beach. Meals available on site buffet style in open air patio like set-up. Other popular restaurants within walking distance along beach.
